WIC Elections Are Now Open

Women in Computing

March 10, 2026

Women in Computing (WIC) is excited to announce that applications for our upcoming leadership elections are now officially open. This is a great opportunity for members who are passionate about building community, supporting women and underrepresented groups in tech, and helping shape the future of WIC at MSU.

Serving on the WIC executive board is a meaningful way to grow as a leader while working closely with a team of motivated students. Board members help organize events, connect with industry professionals, support outreach efforts, and create spaces where students in computing can learn, network, and feel empowered.

Whether you are interested in planning events, strengthening campus engagement, leading outreach initiatives, managing communications, or contributing new ideas to the organization, there is a place for you on the WIC leadership team. Running for a position is also a valuable chance to gain experience in teamwork, communication, and professional development.

We encourage all interested members to consider applying, even if this would be your first leadership role. WIC continues to grow through the energy, creativity, and dedication of its members, and elections are an important part of continuing that mission.

Applications are now open, and we are excited to see the ideas and enthusiasm that candidates will bring to the next year of Women in Computing. If you are ready to make an impact and help lead our community, we hope you will apply.
